Concrete Services

From structural repairs to new walkout entrances.

Block Foundations

New additions, garage foundations, and cold cellars. We lay reinforced 8", 10", or 12" block (CMU) perfectly plumb and ready for framing.

Basement Walkouts

Excavation and construction of separate entrances. Including underpinning, drainage connection, and concrete steps.

Parging & Coating

Restoring the protective cement coating on your foundation walls. We remove loose parging and apply a smooth, weather-resistant finish.

Retaining Walls

Engineered walls to hold back soil. Built with proper weeping tile drainage and gravel backfill to prevent frost heave.

Concrete Steps

Forming and pouring solid concrete porches and stairs. Durable, non-slip finishes that outlast wood.

Crack Repair

Injection and patching of foundation cracks. We assess if the crack is structural or cosmetic and fix the root cause.

How We Build

Concrete work is unforgiving. We get it right the first time.

Layout & Excavation

Laser-level precision to ensure your walls are perfectly square and at the correct depth.

Rebar & Forming

Installing steel reinforcement (rebar) to code requirements for structural strength.

The Pour / Lay

Pouring high-MPA concrete or laying block with fully grouted cells where required.

Finishing & Curing

Proper troweling and curing time to prevent cracking and dusting.

Common Questions

Why is my parging falling off?

Parging usually fails due to moisture trapped behind the cement coating. If water gets in and freezes, it pops the coating off. We fix this by removing all loose material and applying a bonding agent before the new coat.

Can you build a separate entrance (walkout) for my basement?

Yes. This involves excavating down to the footing, cutting the foundation wall, underpinning (if necessary), installing a drain, and building new retaining walls and stairs. We handle the entire structural side of this project.

Do I need a permit for a retaining wall?

In most GTA municipalities, retaining walls over 1 meter "approx 3.3 feet" in height require a building permit and an engineer's design. We can help guide you through this process.
